Life happens….

Most of us have experienced cuts, scrapes and injuries that leave reminders on our bodies in the form of scars.  sanastaWellness has received a number of requests and even some customer submitted recipes to address different types of scars, including keloids.  We named the series of blends *?%&#! scar (aka  FK’n SCAR), because that’s how the scars are described to us.

We created a couple of blends using natural and essential oils to help minimize the appearance of scars.  Skin nourishing carrier oils like Avocado, Rosehip Seed, Jojoba, Tamanu and Kukui Nut are combined with essential oils known to help stimulate cell regeneration and have skin healing properties to reduce scars. Essential oils such as Helichrysum (Immortelle), Geranium, Frankincense, Neroli, Lavender and Rose, to name a few.  An added bonus is that many essential oil pull double duty and help with emotional scars, too!
